January 17th, 2016 - Strand Notches Top Ten Finish on Friday Night at USA Raceway
1Returning for night three of the Wild West Shootout at USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona), Dustin Strand recorded a 8th place heat finish transferring him into the B-Main. Transferring the top three into the feature, Strand came up two spots short a transfer position in the 12-lap consolation event with a 5th place outing.

Coming from the tail in his heat on Saturday night, Strand scored a podium finish sending him into the feature with a 4th row starting position. Battling for another $5,000 payday, Dustin retired a 16th place finish.

Competing in the final night of action in the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout on Sunday night, Dustin Strand logged a 8th place heat finish transferring him into the B-Main for one more shot at the grand finale feature paying $11,000 to the winner. Needing a 3rd place finish or better, Strand came up two spots short with a 5th place outing.

January 10th, 2016 - Dustin Strand Begins 2016 Season at Wild West Shootout
1 Competing in his Super Late Model to begin the 2016 season, Dustin Strand made the trek to USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) on Saturday night for the 10th Annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. Drawing sixty Super Late Models for the opening night $5,000-to-win A-Main, Dustin gained five spots in his heat scoring a 3rd place finish and earning a spot into the 30-lap feature. Starting on the 2nd row for the feature, Strand was battling for a top five spot until running into some trouble around the halfway point of the feature. Running in 3rd, Dustin Strand’s bumper dug into the track resulting in a 19th place finish.

The following night in a field of fifty-seven cars, Dustin Strand was slated to start on the 2nd row of his heat. Falling one positon, Strand transferred into the B-Main after placing 5th in his heat. Needing a 3rd place finish or better to make the show, Dustin retired a 7th place outing.
