July 30th, 2016 - Dustin Strand Wins WISSOTA Show at River Cities Speedway
1On Friday night Dustin Strand returned to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for the WISSOTA Late Model sanctioned program. In a field of 19 cars, Strand cruised to a hxeat race win giving him the pole starting spot for the feature. After losing the lead early in the race in a three-car battle, Strand made a last lap pass to capture his ninth win of the season over Joey Pederson, Brad Seng, Zach Naastad, and Mike Balcean. 1Saturday brought 17 Super Late Models to Greenbush Race Park (Greenbush, Minnesota) for the $1,100-to-win Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) event. Posting another heat race victory, Strand earned the 3rd-starting position for the feature. Moving up one spot, Dustin landed a runner-up finish behind Brad Seng with Cole Schill, Joey Pederson, and Steffen Snare rounding out Top 5.

July 23rd, 2016 - Strand Adds Win Number Eight at Devil's Lake Speedway
1Powering his RealTruck.com #71 Super Late Model, Dustin Strand visited Red River Co-Op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday for the regular night of racing. After leading his entire heat race, Strand failed to finish the preliminary event after his battery shorted out. Starting near the tail of the field in the feature, Dustin wheeled his way up to a 2nd place finish behind Shane Edginton with Kevin Sexton, Mike Balcaen, and Mike Martin trailing them across the finish line.

1The following night for another unsanctioned event, Strand headed to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota). Improving two positions in his heat, Dustin landed a runner-up finish behind Bill Mooney setting him up with a 9th-starting position for the feature. Bringing home another podium finish, Dustin Strand gained seven spots in the A-Main posting a runner-up finish behind Mooney with Mike Balcaen, Brad Seng, and Steffen Snare rounding out the Top 5.

1Wrapping up the weekend, Strand traveled to Devil’s Lake Speedway (Lakota, North Dakota) on Saturday for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned program. Placing 2nd in his heat behind Tom Corcoran, Dustin earned to start 5th for the $1,100-to-win A-Main. After sitting out a rain-delay, Dustin Strand stormed to his eighth win of the season with Bill Mooney, Shane Edginton, Mike Balcaen, and Brad Seng completing the top five finishers. July 17th, 2016 - Dustin Strand Wins at Red River Valley Speedway
1Competing with World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO), Dustin Strand headed to Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota) on Wednesday night for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. With twenty-nine cars signed in, Strand grabbed the last transfer position in his heat placing 6th. Starting in 16th for the feature, Dustin lost six spots in the 50-lapper logging a 22nd place finish.

On Friday night Strand returned with the WoO series at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for another stop of the Wild West Tour. After timing in 9th fastest in a field of twenty-eight competitors, steady rain moved and wash out the rest of the night's scheduled events.

1Picking things back up on Sunday night, Dustin Strand stopped at Red River Valley Speedway (West Fargo, North Dakota) for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned program. Drawing twenty-nine entries for the Red River Valley Fair Race, Strand stormed to a heat race win earning him a front-row starting spot alongside Brad Seng for the feature. Battling back in for with Seng for the top spot through lap-traffic, Dustin held off Seng when the checkers flew for a $1,100 payday with Mike Balcaen, Cole Schill, and Jeff Massingill rounding out the top five finishers. July 9th, 2016 - Strand Places in Top Five at River Cities
1Back behind the wheel of his Open Wheel Modified, Dustin Strand visited River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Friday for the regular night of racing. Improving three positions in his heat, Strand landed a runner-up finish behind Mike Balcaen. Starting in 7th for the feature, Dustin gained four more positions in the A-Main notching a 3rd place finish behind Tom Corcoran and Joey Pederson with Brad Seng and Zach Naastad rounding out the top five.

July 2nd, 2016 - Two-Win 4th of July Weekend for Dustin Strand
1Making the trip north of the border, Dustin Strand traveled to Red River Co-Op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday night for the regular night of racing. Competing in a field of eight cars, Strand gained one spot in his heat capturing a heat race win. Coming from the 5th place starting spot in the feature, Dustin stormed to his fifth win of the season over Mike Balcaen, Kevin Sexton, Shane Edginton, and Mike Martin.

1Strand headed to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Friday night to do battle against a field of 15 entries in the Late Model division. Cruising to a heat race win, Strand earned the 2nd-starting spot for the main event alongside Brad Seng. Working his way past Seng, Dustin charged to his sixth win of the season with Seng, Shane Edginton, Joey Pederson, and Mike Balcaen completing the Top 5.

Wrapping up the busy 4th of July weekend, Strand stopped at Viking Speedway (Alexandria, Minnesota) on Saturday night. In a field of twenty Super Late Models, Dustin posted a 3rd place finish in is heat setting him up with a 7th place starting spot for the feature. Running into problems in the main event, Strand pulled off early being credited with a 14th place finish.
