June 25th, 2016 - Dustin Strand Claims Four Top Ten Finishes Over the Weekend
1 Returning with the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) event, Dustin Strand was one of twenty-five cars signed in at Norman County Raceway (Ada, Minnesota) on Wednesday night for the two-day special. Passing two cars in his heat race, Strand logged a 4th place finish earning him a 16th place starting position for the Norman County Fair Race A-Main. Charging eight positions, Dustin landed a top ten finish with an 8th place spot in the feature.

In a field of twenty-seven cars on Thursday, Strand started the night off with a heat race win giving him the 3rd place starting spot for the $1,100-to-win feature. Improving one position in the 25-lapper, Dustin posted a runner-up finish behind Jeff Wildung with Brad Seng, Jeremy Keller, and Don Shaw trailing them across the finish line.

Friday night brought the NLRA followers to Red River Valley Speedway (Halstad, Minnesota) for another $1,100-to-win A-Main. Gaining one spot in his heat, Strand logged a 6th place finish earning him an 18th place starting spot for the feature. Wheeling his way through the field twelve spots, Dustin reeled in a solid 6th place finish in the 25-lap A-Main.

Closing out the busy four-day weekend with the NLRA series, Strand stopped at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Saturday for the Fan Appreciation Night. In a field of nineteen cars, Dustin landed a runner-up finish in his heat behind Donald Shaw. Starting in 4th for the feature, Dustin Strand advanced two positions scoring another 2nd place finish behind Shaw with Brad Seng, Mike Balcaen, and Cole Schill rounding out the top five.

June 18th, 2016 - Strand Runs with the NLRA Series
1Running with the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA), Dustin Strand traveled to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Friday night to a field of nineteen Super Late Models. Improving four positions in his heat, Strand landed a runner-up finish behind Brad Seng sending him into the feature with a 6th place starting spot. Working his way into a podium finish, Dustin posted a 3rd place finish behind Mike Balcaen and Brad Seng with Steffen Snare and Zach Naastad rounding out the top five.

On Saturday night the NLRA series followers stopped at Greenbush Race Park (Greenbush, Minnesota). After gaining three positions in his heat, Dustin failed to make it out for his feature following a 3rd place outing in his heat.

June 11th, 2016 - Dustin Storms From the Tail to Pick Up Feature Win
1 Piloting his RealTruck.com #71 Super Late Model, Dustin Strand was one of fifteen cars signed in at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for the regular night of racing. Improving three positions in his heat, Strand posted a 4th place finish earning him a front row starting spot for the feature starting alongside Steve Anderson. After suffering a flat tire early in the event, Dustin came from the tail of the field storming to his fourth win of the season with Bill Mooney, Steffen Snare, Zach Naastad, and Brandon Fuller trailing him to the checkers.

1The following night brought Strand to Jamestown Speedway (Jamestown, North Dakota) for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned event. In a field of thirty cars, Strand gained two spots in his heat landing a runner-up finish behind Steffen Snare. Advancing three more spots in the feature, Dustin notched a 4th place finish behind Zach Naastad, Cole Schill, and Shane Edginton with Ryan Corbett coming in 5th.

June 4th, 2016 - Dustin Strand Wins at Greenbush Race Park
1 On Thursday night Dustin Strand made his first trip of the season to Norman County Raceway (Ada, Minnesota) to compete in the IMCA Modified division. In a field of twenty-one cars, Strand gained one spot in his heat capturing a heat race victory. Earning a 3rd place starting position for the feature, Dustin again advanced one spot in the feature notching a runner-up finish behind Austin Arneson with Cale Arneson, Rob Vanmil, and Michael Johnson rounding out the top five.

1With the weather cancelling his plans on Friday night, Strand returned to action on Saturday night traveling to Greenbush Race Park (Greenbush, Minnesota) for another first for the season. Competing in the Modified division along with his dad Brian competing his back-up car, both Brian and Dustin scored heat race win setting them up with a solid starting position for the feature. Working his way to the front, Dustin Strand soared to his third victory of the season with his father following him with an impressive 2nd place finish.
