July 29th, 2017 - Strand Tops Late Model Field at River Cities Speedway
1Pulling double duty in the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified ranks, Dustin Strand visited River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Friday night. Recording a 5th-place finish in his heat race, Strand secured his spot into the 20-lap feature. After starting with a heat race win in his Open Wheel Modified, Strand was an early retiree from the feature after getting caught behind a wreck, following a restart on the fourth lap.

1Saturday night brought Dustin to Devil’s Lake Speedway (Lakota, North Dakota), where he did battle in the $1,000-to-win Open Wheel Modified special. Moving up one spot in his heat, Strand scored a 10-lap heat race win, positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the feature. Breaking into the Top 5, Dustin Strand posted a 4th-place finish behind Lance Schill, Ward Imrie, and Scott Greer with Rick Delaine coming in 5th.

July 22nd, 2017 - Podium Finish in NLRA Action at Devil's Lake Speedway
1On Thursday Dustin Strand was one of 15 Super Late Models on hand at Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) for the regular night of racing. Passing three cars in his heat, Dustin streaked to a 8-lap heat race win positioning him 8th on the starting grid for the feature. Breaking into a podium Spot, Strand gained four positions in the 20-lap affair to place 3rd behind Ricky Weiss and Mike Balcaen with Kevin Sexton and Bill Mooney completing the Top 5 finishers.

1Following a rain-out Friday night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota), Strand returned to action on Saturday at Devil’s Lake Speedway (Lakota, North Dakota) for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned program. In a field of 23 cars, Strand started the night off with a 10-lap heat win from the second row earning him the 3rd-starting position for the $1,100-to-win A-Main. After challenging race-leader Ricky Weiss for the top spot late in the race, Dustin settled with a 2nd place finish behind Weiss with Cole Schill, Bill Mooney, and Robert Hellebust completing the Top 5 finishers.

July 15th, 2017 - Strand Finds Victory Lane in Modified at River Cities and Greenbush
1Making his first start of the season with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Dustin Strand invaded Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota) on Wednesday night for the $8,000 top prize. Moving up two spots in his heat race, Strand recorded a 3rd place finish locking him in the 8th-starting position for the feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top 10 finish, Dustin slipped back to a 11th place finish in the 40-lapper.

The following night with 33 World of Outlaws followers on hand at Hibbing Raceway (Hibbing, Minnesota), Strand recorded a 4th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 3 into the show, Dustin edged his way with the 3rd and final transfer spot. With $8,000 on the line, Strand improved two positions registering a 20th place outing.

Wrapping up the three-day stint with the World of Outlaws, Strand stopped at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Friday for the Acme Tools 50. Dropping one spot in his heat race, Dustin logged a 6th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 3 into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Dustin landed a runner-up finish behind Chase Junghans positioning him 20th on the starting grid for the feature. Improving three positions in the 50-lapper, Strand registered a 17th place finish.

1During the same night powering his Q&Z Plumbing & Heating #71 Open Wheel Modified, Strand cruised to an 8-lap heat race win positioning him 6th on the starting grid for the feature. With 20 laps to work his way to the front, Dustin topped Ward Imrie, Jerome Guyot, Lance Schill, and Scott Greer to pick up his tenth win of the season.

1Saturday night brought strand to Greenbush Raceway Park (Greenbush, Minnesota) pulling double duty in the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified divisions. With 18 cars signed in for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned contest, Dustin secured his spot into the $1,100-to-win feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Starting in 9th for the 25-lap feature, Strand passed two cars to place 7th.

July 7th, 2017 - Three Runner-up Finishes in Late Model at Red River, River Cities, and Greenbush
1Behind the wheel of the RealTruck.com #71 Super Late Model, Dustin Strand returned to Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday for the regular night of racing. After leading the night off with a heat race win, Strand posted a runner-up finish in the feature behind Ricky Weiss with Kevin Sexton, Shane Edginton, and Mike Martin completing the Top 5 finishers.

1Friday night Strand was one of 17 Super Late Models signed in at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota). Holding his starting spot in his heat race, Dustin picked up an 8-lap heat race win earning him the pole position for the A-Main. Losing one spot in the 20-lapper, Dustin Strand notched a 2nd place finish behind Brad Seng with Bill Mooney, Mike Balcaen, and Joey Pederson trailing them across the finish line.

1Closing out the weekend, Strand stopped at Greenbush Race Park (Greenbush, Minnesota) on Saturday for the regular night of racing. Moving up two spots in his heat, Strand captured an 8-lap heat race win positioning him 12th on the starting grid for the feature. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Dustin Strand improved ten positions in the 20-lap affair to place 2nd behind Ward Imrie with Dustin Wahl, Rick Delaine, and Shawn Teunis rounding out the Top 5.
