June 30th, 2017 - Strand Sweeps NLRA Action at River Cities Speedway
1Kicking off the holiday weekend, Dustin Strand visited Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday night for the unsanctioned Canada Day Celebration. In a field of 12 Super Late Models, Strand gained two positions in his heat race to place 4th. Rolling off 7th for the feature, Dustin wheeled his way into a podium spot posting a 3rd place outing behind Bill Mooney and Ricky Weiss with Rick Fawcett and Mike Balcaen completing the Top 5 finishers.

1The following night Strand headed to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for a pair of Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned features. In a field of 26 cars, Dustin charged to a heat race win from 4th-starting spot positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the feature. 1Later that night for the rescheduled NLRA feature from June 16th, Strand started on the front row alongside Joey Pederson. Leading wire-to-wire, Dustin Strand cruised to his second win of the night and ninth on the season topping Donny Schatz, Ricky Weiss, Brad Seng, and Bill Mooney at the finish line. Strand was awarded a $1,100 payday for his dominant performance in the 25-lap affair.

June 24th, 2017 - Pair of Runner-up Finishes in Late Model at Red River and River Cities
1Dustin Strand returned behind the wheel of his Super Late Model on Thursday for the regular night of racing at Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba). Gaining one spot in his 8-lap heat race, Strand posted a runner-up finish behind Paul Veert locking him into the 6th-starting position for the feature. Breaking into a podium spot, Dustin passed four cars in the 15-lap affair reeling in a 2nd place finish behind Ricky Weiss with Rick Fawcett, Kevin Sexton, and Billy Mooney completing the Top 5 finishers.

1On Friday night Strand was one of 21 Super Late Models signed in at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) where he opened the night with a runner-up finish in his heat race behind Mike Balcaen. Rolling off 9th for the feature, Dustin stormed through the field seven spots notching a 2nd place finish again behind Billy Mooney with Brad Seng, Mike Balcaen, and Ricky Weiss rounding out the Top 5.

Saturday's NLRA sanctioned program at Greenbush Race Park (Greenbush, Minnesota) was cancelled after persistent rain in the area soaked the grounds.

June 17th, 2017 - Rain Cuts Short NLRA Event at River Cities; 2nd on Saturday in Modified at Greenbush
1On Friday night Dustin Strand invaded River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned event. Drawing 24 Super Late Models for the $1,100-to-win A-Main, Strand started the night off with a heat race win from the 3rd-starting position locking him on the pole for the feature. Before the A-Main was able to get underway, severe weather moved in postponing the remainder of the night.

1Hopping behind the wheel of his Open Wheel Modified on Saturday, Dustin was one of 15 cars signed in at Greenbush Race Park (Greenbush, Minnesota) for the Duane "Dugan" Nelson Memorial. Jumping up two spots in his heat race, Strand posted a runner-up finish behind Shane Wahl locking him into the 9th-starting position for the feature. Wheeling his way through the field seven spots, Dustin Strand notched a 2nd place finish behind Ward Imrie with Shawn Teunis, Aaron Holtan, and Jordan Duray completing the Top 5 finishers.

June 10th, 2017 - Dustin Strand Wins in Late Model at Red River; Pockets $1,000 Payday in Modified Special at Devils Lake Speedway
1Dustin Strand kicked off the busy weekend on Thursday night piloting his Q&Z Plumbing & Heating #71 Super Late Model at Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba). With 12 cars on hand, Strand started the night off with a heat race win from the 2nd-starting spot. 1The following night brought Strand to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) pulling double duty in the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified ranks. Following a heat race win in his Late Model, Strand salvaged a 5th place finish in the feature on a one-lane track trailing Zach Naastad, Brad Seng, Mike Balcaen, and Joey Pederson across the finish line. In the Modified division, Dustin improved four positions in his heat race to place 2nd behind Rick Delaine. Battling with Ward Imrie for the top spot in the feature, Strand landed a 2nd place finish behind Imrie in an exciting photo finish ending. Scott Greer, Ryan Kereluk, and Aaron Holtan completed the Top 5 finishers.

1Closing out the weekend, Strand stopped at Devils Lake Speedway (Lakota, North Dakota) on Saturday for the Open Wheel Modified special. Passing four cars in his heat race, Strand posted a 2nd place finish behind Rick Delaine locking him into the 3rd-starting spot for the A-Main. After exchanging the lead with Ward Imrie throughout the feature, Dustin Strand came out on top at the end of the 25-lapper capturing his seventh win of the season a $1,000 payday. Imrie, Scott Greer, Eric Haugland, and Ryan Kereluk rounded out the Top 5.

June 3rd, 2017 - Strand Brings Overall Win Tally to Five with Wins at River Cities and Greenbush
1 Competing in his Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified, Dustin Strand returned to Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday for the regular night of racing. Gaining three spots in his Late Model heat, Strand landed a 4th place finish locking him into the 6th-starting position for the A-Main. Breaking into a podium spot, Dustin gained four positions to place 2nd behind Rick Fawcett with Mike Balcaen, Billy Mooney, and Kevin Sexton completing the Top 5 finishers.

In the Modified division, Strand secured his spot into the A-Main with an 8-lap heat race win. Starting in 8th, Dustin improved six positions reeling in a runner-up finish behind Ward Imrie with Scott Greer, Ian Rousseau, and Ryan Kereluk rounding out the Top 5.

1On Friday night Strand was piloting his Super Late Model at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) in a field of 18 cars. Cruising to an 8-lap heat race win from the pole position, Dustin locked into the 4th-starting spot for the feature. Improving five positions in his heat race, Dustin started the night off with a heat race win locking him into 9th-starting spot for the feature. With 15-laps to make his way to the front, Dustin Strand charged through the field to capture his second win of the weekend and fifth overall on the season.
