May 27th, 2017 - Dustin Strand Wins in Late Model and Modified Over Memorial Day Weekend
1Dustin Strand was back in action on Friday night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) kicking off the busy Memorial Day Weekend in a field of 16 Super Late Models. Jumping up three positions in his heat race, Strand registered a 3rd place finish locking him into the 2nd-starting spot for the feature. Taking the lead on the drop of the green flag, Dustin led every circuit of the 20-lapper en route to his first Super Late Model victory of the season topping Mike Balcaen, Zach Naastad, Ryan Corbett, and Brad Seng at the finish line. 1The following night brought Strand to Greenbush Race Park (Greenbush, Minnesota) behind the wheel of his Open Wheel Modified. In a field of 21 cars, Dustin registered a 3rd place finish in his heat race positioning him 9th on the starting grid for the feature. Wheeling his way into a podium spot within the first 10 laps, Strand overtook the 2nd position on lap 14. Battling in lap traffic in the closing laps, Dustin Strand grabbed the top spot from Ward Imrie with two circuits remaining. Holding off a last lap charge from Imrie, Strand captured his second win of the weekend and third overall on the season. Imrie, Jerome Guyot, Aaron Holtan, and Gavin Paul completed the Top 5 finishers.

May 19th, 2017 -Top 10 Finish in Late Model at River Cities Speedway
1Behind the wheel of the RHRSwag.com #71 Super Late Model, Dustin Strand was one of 20 Super Late Models signed in at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Friday for the Family Fun Night. Registering a 3rd place finish in his 8-lap heat race, Strand locked his spot into the 20-lap A-Main. Bringing home a Top 10 finish, Dustin posted a 7th place spot after posting his fastest time of the feature on the final lap.

May 13th, 2017 - Mechanical Issues Ends Strand's Night Early at River Cities
1On Friday night Dustin Strand returned to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) to a field of 17 Super Late Models. Registering a runner-up finish behind Brad Seng in his heat race, Dustin was slated to start 7th for Northen Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) A-Main until his crew discovered mechanical issues preventing him from making it out for the 20-lap affair.

May 6th, 2017 - Strand Visits River Cities Speedway for Season Opener
1Dustin Strand returned to action on Friday night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for the track’s season opener. In a field of 15 cars, Stand posted a 3rd place finish in his heat race positioning him on the 3rd row of the starting grid for the feature. Advancing into a podium spot, Dustin passed five cars in the 20-lapper notching a runner-up finish behind Bill Mooney with Zach Naastad, Brad Seng, and Joey Pedersen completing the Top 5 finishers.

1Saturday night brought Strand to Viking Speedway (Alexandria, Minnesota) pulling double duty in the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified divisions. After battling around the Top 5 throughout the Modified feature, Strand landed a 5th place spot when the checkered flag flew. In the Late Model A-Main, Strand was running in 2nd in the final laps until a lap car cause a pile-up leaving Dustin nowhere to go. Making hard contact with another car, Strand’s night was over after his radiator was destroyed.
