September 24th, 2016 - Strand Sweeps Night at Red River to Tally Win Number 21
1Piloting his #71 Super Late Model, Dustin Strand invaded Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Saturday night for the WISSOTA sanctioned program. Starting on the pole of his heat, Strand cruised to heat race victory putting him 8th on the starting rundown for the feature. Following a mid-race caution, Dustin took the top spot from pole-sitter Ricky Weiss on lap 13 to capture his 21st victory of the season over Weiss, Mike Martin, Billy Mooney, and Kevin Sexton. September 10th, 2016 - Dustin Wins Prelude to the Johnny
1Beginning the first night of the 10th Annual John Seitz Memorial, Dustin Strand headed to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Thursday for the Prelude to the Johnny. Drawing 37 Super Late Models for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned event, Strand started the night off by setting the track record in qualifying. Registering a runner-up finish in his heat behind Brad Seng, Dustin rolled off 7th for the opening night A-Main. Taking over the lead for the final 16 laps of the feature, Strand tied the single-season record for most NLRA wins in a season after recording his seventh NLRA victory and 20th win overall on the season. Capturing a $1,500 payday, Billy Mooney, David McDonald, Chad Mahder, and Don Shaw rounded out the Top 5 finishers. 1On Friday night starting in 8th for his heat race, Dustin was up to 3rd at one point but settled with a 5th place finish. Starting on the pole for the B-Main, Strand landed a runner-up finish behind Scott Ward earning him the 20th-starting position for the $10,092-to-win John Seitz Memorial on Saturday night. Working his way through the field eight positions, Dustin Strand posted a 12th place finish in the 92-lap A-Main. Dustin was crowned the track’s WISSOTA Late Model champion and is currently leading WISSOTA national point standings.

September 4th, 2016 - Strand Adds Wins 18 and 19 Over the Weekend
1Kicking off the action-packed Labor Day Weekend, Dustin Strand invaded Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday for the regular night of racing. Passing two cars in his heat, Strand captured a heat race win earning him the 8th-starting position for the feature. Working his way to the front, Dustin captured his fourth straight victory and 18th on the season. Bill Mooney, Mike Balcaen, Mike Martin, and Rick Fawcett rounded out the Top 5 finishers. 1The following night Strand headed to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned program. Starting the night off again with a heat race victory, Strand rolled off on the pole for the main event. Holding his position for the entire distance of the feature, Dustin bagged his 19th win over Joey Pederson, Mike Balcaen, Brad Seng, and Zach Naastad. 1The NLRA Series picked back up on Saturday at Viking Speedway (Alexandra, Minnesota) for the two-day NLRA Labor Day Double Dip. In a field of 23 Super Late Models, Strand placed 3rd in his heat giving him the 7th-starting spot for the $1,600-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top 5, Dustin landed a 5th place finish behind Don Shaw, Zach Johnson, Brad Seng, and Corey Nelson.

Closing out the busy weekend on Sunday, Strand started his night with a heat race win, putting him on the pole for the NLRA sanctioned A-Main. Dustin led the feature until the final lap, when he slipped out of the rubber, allowing Don Shaw to slip past. He would go on to notch a runner-up finish behind Shaw with Brad Seng, Zach Johnson, and Corey Nelson trailing them across the finish line.
