August 25, 2018 - Dustin Strand Victorious at River Cities Speedway
1Dustin Strand returned to action on Thursday evening at Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) for the regular night of racing. Passing four cars in his 8-lap heat, Strand reeled in a 2nd place finish behind Mike Martin earning him the 8th-starting position for the opening night feature. Breaking into the Top-5, Dustin improved three spots to place 5th behind Mike Balcaen, Shane Edginton, Bill Mooney, and Brody Troftgruben.

1The following night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota), Dustin locked his spot into the main event with a heat race victory. 1Saturday night brought 13 Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) followers to Greenbush Race Park (Greenbush, Minnesota) for the $1,200 top prize. Following a 4th place finish in his heat, Dustin gained three positions in the 25-lap feature notching a 5th place finish behind Shane Edginton, Mike Balcaen, Bill Mooney, and Joey Pederson.

August 18, 2018 - Strand Sweeps NLRA Action at Red River Co-op Speedway
1 Thursday night saw Dustin Strand in action at Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned Can-Am Late Model Challenge. In a field of 20 cars, Strand jumped up one spot in his heat to pick up the win. Earning the 3rd-starting position for the feature, Dustin overtook the leader by the fifth lap and distanced himself from the field in the remaining circuits capturing his 14th win of the season and a $1,200 payday. 1On Friday night Strand followed the NLRA to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota), where he was going looking for the $1,200 top prize. Starting his heat race in the seventh position, Dustin was running in second and battling for the lead when he lost a cylinder in his engine. He attempted a complete oil system change along with an engine swap but ran short on time as the feature went green before he could make it onto the track surface.

The following night brought 29 NLRA followers to Red River Valley Speedway (West Fargo, North Dakota). Passing two cars in his heat, Dustin scored a 3rd place finish earning him the 11th-starting position for the feature. Breaking into the Top-5, Strand improved six spots to place 5th behind Brad Seng, Don Shaw, Donny Schatz, and Scott Ward.

Sunday’s NLRA finale at Sheyenne River Speedway (Lisbon, North Dakota) was wiped out by Mother Nature.

August 11, 2018 - Dustin Strand Records Two-Win Weekend
1On Thursday night Dustin Strand traveled Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) competing in a field of 11 Super Late Models. After starting the night off with a heat race victory, Dustin outran hard-charging Mike Balcaen to capture his 12th win of the season over Balcaen, Shane Edginton, Shane Holden, and Rick Fawcett. 1The following night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota), Strand jumped up two spots in his 8-lap heat to place 5th. Starting the feature in 10th, Dustin passed six cars in the 20-lapper to notching a 4th place finish behind Brad Seng, Ryan Corbett, and Joey Pederson with Jeff Hapala coming in 5th.

1Saturday saw Strand visit Devil’s Lake Speedway (Lakota, North Dakota) for the regular night of racing. Holding his spot in his 10-lap heat, Dustin recorded a 2nd place finish behind Mike Balcaen locking him into the 5th-starting position for the feature. August 5, 2018 - Strand Coasts to River Cities Win; Tops NLRA Field at Jamestown Speedway
1Dustin Strand invaded Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday evening powering the RH Rebel Storage #71 Super Late Model entry. Dropping one spot in his 8-lap heat, Strand posted a 2nd place finish behind Jesse Teunis earning him the 7th-starting position for the opening night feature. Working his way into a podium spot, Strand passed five cars to place 2nd behind Kevin Sexton with Mike Balcaen, Shane Edginton, and Rick Fawcett rounding out the Top-5.

1The following night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota), Dustin improved one spot in his heat reeling in the 8-lap victory. Starting the feature in 8th, Strand overtook Shane Edginton for the lead on lap-7 and held the top spot for the next 13 circuits capturing his tenth win of the season. 1On Saturday evening Strand headed to Jamestown Speedway (Jamestown, North Dakota) for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned contest. In a field of 19 cars, Dustin started the night off with a heat race victory positioning him the 3rd on the starting grid for the feature. Jumping into the lead early, Dustin Strand topped Casey Meyer, Brad Seng, Mike Balcaen, and Cole Schill at the line claiming his 11th win of the season and a $1,200 payday.

1Sunday night brought 25 NLRA entries to Nodak Speedway (Minot, North Dakota) for the $1,500 top prize. Passing two cars in his heat, Strand streaked to a heat race win earning him the 3rd-starting position for the finale. Gaining one spot in the 30-lapper, Dustin Strand notched a runner-up finish behind Donny Schatz with Brad Seng, Tyson Turnbull, and Robert Hellebust trailing them to the checkers.
