May 27, 2018 - Dustin Strand Attends Minnesota Modified Nationals at Ogilvie
1 Friday night found Dustin Strand in action at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) competing in a field of 15 Super Late Models. After starting the night off with a heat race victory from the 4th-starting position, Strand was an early retiree from the 20-lap feature.

1The following night brought Strand to Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota) pulling double duty for the two-day Minnesota Modified Nationals. In a field of 32 WISSOTA Modifieds, Strand passed four cars in his heat to place 2nd behind Clayton Wagamon. Earning the 4th-starting position for the opening night feature, Dustin dropped one spot in the 30-lapper to place 6th.

In the Midwest Modified division for only a round of heat racing action, Strand reeled in a 5th place finish in the 10-lapper locking his spot into the main event on Sunday. Rolling off 13th, Dustin failed to finish the 50-lap affair.

In the Open Wheel Modified ranks, Strand was disqualified from his heat race and was a scratch from his 12-lap consolation event.

May 19, 2018 - Stand Lands Podium Finish in NLRA Action at Devil's Lake Speedway
1After losing Friday’s opener to Mother Nature at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota), Dustin Strand headed to Devil’s Lake Speedway (Lakota, North Dakota) on Saturday evening for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned program. In a field of 17 cars, Strand improved one spot in his heat race to place 2nd behind Shane Edginton. Earning the 6th-starting position for the $1,200-to-win A-Main, Strand gained four positions reeling in a runner-up finish behind Mike Balcaen with Shane Edginton, Jim Harris, and Kevin Robertson rounding out the Top-5. May 12, 2018 - Runner-up Finish at River Cities Speedway
1On Friday night Dustin Strand traveled to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) powering the Q&Z Plumbing & Heating #71 Super Late Model for the regular night of racing. Jumping up two spots in his heat, Strand recorded a 3rd place finish positioning him on the pole for the feature. Dropping one spot in the 20-lap affair, Dustin scored a runner-up finish behind Ricky Weiss with Billy Mooney, Mike Balcaen, and Ryan Corbett completing the Top-5 finishers.

1The following night at Devil’s Lake Speedway (Lakota, North Dakota), Dustin locked his spot into the show with a heat race victory. Earning the 5th-starting position for the A-Main, Strand slowly worked his way to the front and on the final corner of the last lap made hard contact with the leader. He was eventually disqualified from the 20-lapper for exiting his car while still on the track.
